The invention provides a method for obtaining a stress-strain curve of a metal material under a static compression state. The method is based on improved compression experiments and experimental dataprocessing analysis under the condition of strain control or displacement control. The method mainly comprises the two parts of contents, firstly, experimental data are obtained through the improved compression experiments, and then through experimental data processing, the real stress-strain curve of the material under the extreme slow compression state, namely the static compression state is obtained. The method has the effects that the real stress-strain curve of the material in the process of long-term compression service can be obtained through the experiments, thus the real using performance of the material can be effectively evaluated, and the important guiding significance for use of the metal material under the long-term compression service state is achieved.
