The invention discloses a reduced oxide material for selective toluene oxidation to prepare benzyl alcohol, benzaldehyde, benzoic acid and benzyl benzoate, and belongs to the technical field of nanometer materials. Toluene is used as a raw material, without solvents, molecular oxygen (oxygen-containing gas of oxygen, air and the like) is used as an oxidizing agent, and under the catalytic action of the reduced oxide material, the toluene is oxidized selectively to prepare the benzyl alcohol, the benzaldehyde, the benzoic acid and the benzyl benzoate. By modulating the reduction degree of an oxide and adding a metal auxiliary, under an optimal reaction condition, the toluene conversion rate can be up to 60%, and a sum of the selectivity of the four products of the benzyl alcohol, the benzaldehyde, the benzoic acid and the benzyl benzoate can reach 100%.
