The invention discloses a boost type seven-level inverter, which comprises a Boost three-level circuit, an auxiliary switch circuit, an H-bridge circuit and a filter circuit. By controlling the different combinations of switching states of the two switches to make the voltages of the two capacitors be 1/3 Vdc and 2/3 Vdc respectively, the desired DC voltage can be achieved and the voltage of the capacitor can be kept constant, which provides different levels for realizing the seven-level output. The auxiliary switch circuit can output 1/3 Vdc, 2/3 Vdc and Vdc respectively. The output port of the auxiliary switching circuit is connected to the positive and negative bus bars of the H bridge. When the H bridge circuit operates at a unipolar state, the inverter circuit can output server levelsof Vdc, -2/3Vdc, -1/3 Vdc, 0V, 1/3 Vdc, 2/3 Vdc, Vdc in total.
