The invention discloses wallpaper PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) paste material and a preparation method thereof and relates to the technical field of decorative materials. The paste material is prepared from the following raw materials: PVC resin powder, methyl methacrylate, modified compound fibers, activated nano titanium white, sodium bentonite, polyacrylate copolymerized emulsion, epoxidized soybean oil, phthalate, propylene glycol, isopropyl p-hydroxy-benzoate, a dispersant, a de-foaming agent, a wetting agent and a crosslinking agent. According to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, the raw materials are mixed to react and then are ground to prepare the paste material. The preparation of the PVC paste material is simple and convenient; a wallpaper PVC layer prepared from the paste material has the characteristics of waterproof and flame-retarding performance, heat insulation and sound insulation, high compression strength and capability of improving an indoor environment.
