The method comprises the following steps that: a first network card in a first numa receives a message; the message is sent to a first CPU (Central Processing Unit), which corresponds to the message, in the first numa to be processed; the first CPU inquires a global conversation Hash table and judges whether aconversation Hash table item corresponding to the Hash key value of the message is in the presence or not; if the Hash table item is in the presence, inquiring whether the first CPU of the first numais recorded in the value domain of the conversion Hash table item or not; if the first CPU of the first numa is not recorded in the value domain of the conversion Hash table item, searching the secondCPU of a second numa which establishes a conversion strategy table item from the value domain of the conversion Hash table item, copying conversion strategy information from the conversion strategy table item address of the second CPU, and creating a conversion strategy table item in the first CPU according to the conversion strategy information; recording the first CPU of the first numa in the value domain of the conversion Hash table item; and according to the conversion strategy table item established in the first CPU of the first numa, forwarding the message. By use of the method, a traffic processing load is guaranteed to be balanced.
