The invention discloses an aircraft telex braking system and a braking method of two-level automatic braking. An automatic braking switch is mounted in a cockpit and is in electrical connection with ahydro-electric valve through a cable; and the automatic braking switch is controlled manually by a pilot and used for controlling the hydro-electric valve to be connected with or disconnected with apower supply so as to control power-on and power-off of the hydro-electric valve. According to the aircraft telex braking system, the automatic braking system is constructed by utilizing existing mature attachments, so that a normal aircraft braking system has the two-level automatic braking capability, the operation selecting range of the normal braking system is perfected and expanded, the combined torque provided by a runway is fully and maximally facilitated, the landing sliding distance is shortened by about 35% compared with conventional braking under the braking mode of using automaticbraking, taking-off and landing safety of the aircraft is ensured, the airport runway utilization and equipment utilization are improved, and the economic, social and military benefits are obvious.
