The invention relates to the technical field of shallow burying and excavation of tunnels and discloses a material conveying system for shallow burying sections of the tunnels and a surface reinforcement method of the shallow burying sections. The material conveying system comprises a pore channel arranged in a soil layer at the shallow burying section of the tunnel, a transportation steel pipe and a steel pipe bracket, wherein the pore channel inclines from inside to outside and towards the front part of an upper-step tunnel face of the tunnel; a lower-end outlet of the pore channel is communicated with an upper-step excavation space of the tunnel, an upper-end outlet of the pore channel is communicated with the ground, and the upper-end outlet of the pore channel is higher than the design height of a reinforcement layer of the shallow burying section; the transportation steel pipe penetrates into the pore channel, one end of the transportation steel pipe penetrates through an advanced support system of the upper-step tunnel face of the tunnel and extends into the upper-step excavation space of the tunnel and the front part of the upper-step tunnel face of the tunnel, and the other end of the transportation steel pipe extends out of the ground; and the steel pipe bracket is arranged on an upper step excavated in the tunnel, and the top end of the steel pipe bracket is rigidlyconnected with the transportation steel pipe. The material conveying system disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the construction efficiency is high, the difficulty is low and surface transportation sidewalks do not need to be built.
