The invention discloses a transformer region load information based alternating current charging pile and a control circuit thereof. The control circuit comprises a control unit, a carrier communication module, a power supply unit, an electric vehicle charging control circuit and an electric vehicle battery capacity collecting circuit; the control unit is connected with a power line through the carrier communication module, and is used for uploading various information to a region central control unit and receiving an instruction signal and a display command which are issued by the region central control unit; the electric vehicle battery capacity collecting circuit is used for collecting the electric vehicle battery capacity and transmitting the capacity to the control unit; an instruction input unit, a display unit and the control unit are collected; the control unit is used for receiving the instruction signal issued by the region central control unit, outputting the control signal to the electric vehicle charging control circuit and controlling the charging state of the electric vehicle. Accordingly, margins of all residential region transformer capacities are utilized for charging the electric vehicle.
