The invention discloses a recombinant bovine long-term interferon and a fusion protein for preparing the same and a preparation method of the recombinant bovine long-term interferon. The fusion protein is formed by connecting a bovine interleukin 2 and a bovine interferon alpha through a flexible linker; and the fusion protein is mixed with a freeze-drying protective agent and is subjected to freeze drying to obtain the recombinant bovine long-term interferon. According to the recombinant bovine long-term interferon, the half-life period of the bovine interferon can be significantly prolonged and is improved by 10 times or higher that of an ordinary bovine interferon, and the recombinant bovine long-term interferon has a broad-spectrum antiviral effect and is capable of improving the immune response of a cow.
