The invention provides a preparation method for a nylon saddle cushion of a railway tanker. The nylon saddle cushion is acquired in the manner of continuously squeezing materials and performing mold pressing production. The materials include 67-73% of PA6, 8-10% of ethylene-propylene-diene ternary copolymer, 18-21% of red phosphorus and 1-2% of additive, wherein the additive is one or more selected from a plasticizer, a compatilizer and a flowing agent. According to the invention, nylon 6 is mainly used as a substrate and the ethylene-propylene-diene ternary copolymer, the red phosphorus and the additive are used for toughening and inflaming retarding modification. The modified material provided by the invention has high flexibility and impact resistance; the mechanical property meets the design requirement; the material reaches flame retardant level and is anti-aging and anti-corrosion; the service life reaches up to 10 years or above; the modified nylon material has an excellent machining property and can realize onsite easy and quick processing and shaping; and the material of the saddle cushion is reusable and is pollution-free to the environment.
