在蒸汽涡轮壳体中设置有：下半部(22)，在下半部主体(23)的周围设置有沿水平方向突出的多个猫腿部(24)；上半部(21)，接合在下半部(22)上；罩构件(31)，固定于猫腿部(24)的上表面部；及猫腿台(26)，下端部设置在架台(27)上且在上端部固定罩构件(31)的下表面部，由此，抑制壳体的热变形而在壳体与涡轮之间维持适当的间隙。

This steam turbine casing is provided with: a lower half part (22) having a plurality of curved leg parts (24) projecting horizontally around a lower half part body (23); an upper half part (21) bonded onto the lower half part (22); a cover member (31) fixed to an upper surface part of the curved leg parts (24); and curved leg bases (26) each having a lower end part which is placed on a frame (27) and having an upper end part to which a lower surface part of the cover member (31) is fixed, whereby thermal deformation of the casing is suppressed, and a suitable clearance is maintained between the casing and a turbine.
