The invention discloses a low-smoke and low-toxicity halogen-free flame retardant ethylene propylene diene methylene (EPDM) vibration isolating rubber material. The low-smoke and low-toxicity halogen-free flame retardant EPDM vibration isolating rubber material is prepared from the following components in parts by mass: 100 parts of EPDM rubber, 120 to 150 parts of inorganic flame retardant, 5 to 20 parts of a charring agent, 1 to 3 parts of an antiager, 5 to 7 parts of an active agent, 40 to 60 parts of fast extruding furnace black (N550), 20 to 35 parts of a plasticizer and 4.5 parts of a vulcanizing agent. The EPDM rubber material disclosed by the invention has the characteristics of long service life, low smoke, low toxicity, excellent flame retardant property, good softening property and good damping performance, and is suitable for vibration and noise reduction of a pipeline system of a submarine.
