A fastening arrangement (2) is disclosed for a safety belt of a rear seat (4) row of a motor vehicle with a cross brace (20), which extends in the lateral direction (12, 14) and a belt retractor (22) for the safety belt. The fastening arrangement includes a tubular cross brace (20). The cross brace (20) is provided with a mounting flange (52), on which the belt retractor (22) is fastened and supported. The mounting flange is downwardly offset relative to an upper wall of the cross brace in the vertical direction. In addition, the invention relates to a vehicle with such a fastening arrangement (2).
