The invention discloses a ground wire with an arc-suppression device. The ground wire comprises a first ground wire, the arc-suppression device, a wire clamping mechanism, a fixing rope and a second ground wire, wherein the lower end of the second ground wire is connected with a ground terminal; a connection terminal capable of being connected with a cross arm is arranged on the upper part of the arc-suppression device; the wire clamping mechanism comprises two pressing tongues and reset springs; the two pressing tongues are hinged through a hinge shaft; the reset springs are connected with the reset springs respectively; the two pressing tongues form contradicting closing parts and clamping parts for clamping high-voltage wires; the fixing rope is connected with the closing part of the pressing tongue which is not connected with the first ground wire; and housings of the first ground wire and the second ground wire are made of a transparent material. Through cooperation of the fixing rope and the clamping parts on the ground wire, the high-voltage wires can be fastened once by the ground wire; the condition that the ground wires is burnt before being fastened to the high-voltage wires through shaking and repeated touch is avoided; installation is facilitated; meanwhile, the arc grounding phenomenon of the ground wire can be prevented by the arc-suppression device; and the life safety of a maintainer is ensured.
