An embodiment of the invention discloses a mining method and relates to the field of mining engineering. The mining method includes arranging each open-cast mining front according to an underground mining wall-type working face mode, simultaneously advancing the fronts towards two sides from an opening segment ditch, arranging the fronts to be parallel to the opening segment ditch and to be symmetric relative to the opening segment ditch, and arranging crossheadings on two sides of each front; mounting a coal cutter on the chute of a scraper conveyer, wherein the coal cutter can move relative to the scraper conveyer; using the coal cutter to cut lunar soil in a reciprocating manner, and using a push device to allow the scraper conveyer to move transversely; continuously conveying the lunar soil out of a mine pit through the scraper conveyer and a belt conveyer in each crossheading. The mining method is capable of effectively solving the problem that an existing mining method is not applicable to low-gravity lunar mining, and the method is applicable to the mining fields such as mining and lunar mining.
