The receiver comprises an attenuation circuit used for receiving input signals and obtaining first signals according to the input signals; a low-noise amplification circuit used for receiving the first signals and obtaining second signals according to the first signals; an quadrature down-conversion circuit used for receiving and processing the second signals and obtaining output signals; and a control circuit used for controlling the attenuation circuit and the low-noise amplification circuit according to the power of interference signals included in the output signals in order to determine whether the attenuation circuit attenuates the input signals and whether the low-noise amplification circuit amplifies the first signals. According to the receiver and the wireless communication apparatus, a controller can enable the receiver to be in different work modes according to different blocking scenes, and the requirements of noise and linearity in different scenes of the receiver are met.
