The invention provides an intelligent substation debugging method and system based on BPM (Business Process Management), and belongs to the technical field of building of an intelligent substation. The method comprises the steps of determining business required for achieving a target; determining an organization providing business; building a business process model according to the target needed to be achieved, the determined business and the determined organization; sending working of each step in the built business process model to a corresponding working unit; and sequentially debugging each step to form a debug report according to a working sequence of each step in the business process model. The method is used for debugging of an intelligent substation secondary system for orderly management, ensuring engineering quality and improving construction efficiency.
