The invention relates to a novel carbon structural material with the carbon content of greater than 90%. The material is isotropic, and has the characteristics of high/low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, light weight and high strength. The novel carbon material is mainly produced by using a carbon material growth continuous tunnel furnace. The production method comprises the following steps: coating a liquid carbon source material on a substrate, carrying out high-temperature heating to cure the liquid carbon source material, coating, and curing until the carbon material grows to the preset shape.
