The invention provides a method for generating a common middle point supergather of an undulating surface. The method of the invention makes full use of superposition of the maximum energy in the same direction, so that the event energy for generation of the supergather is relatively strong and prominent, the velocity information of a current velocity analysis point is reflected relatively accurately, and the accuracy of the velocity analysis and the efficiency of velocity model establishment are improved. In addition, the effect of the supergather is optimized, thereby improving the accuracy of velocity model establishment.
