本发明提供一种用于进行吲哚试验的改良培养基，所述培养基由以下质量体积百分含量的各组分组成：1%胰蛋白胨水，1%的色氨酸。应用本发明的培养基进行吲哚试验能够加速细菌生长，从而减少吲哚试验所需时间，使时间缩短至4‑6个小时。

The invention provides an improved culture medium for carrying out an indole test. The culture medium comprises the following components in percentage by mass volume: 1% of tryptone water and 1% of tryptophan. By carrying out the indole test by virtue of the improved culture medium, the growth of bacteria can be accelerated, so that the time required by the indole test is shortened to be 4-6 hours.
