The invention discloses a modified copper-based high-strength composite material. The modified copper-based high-strength composite material is prepared from, by weight, 15-25 parts of copper alloy, 15-20 parts of copper powder, 2-5 parts of bismuth powder, 5-9 parts of silicon carbide, 3-6 parts of magnesium carbide, 3-6 parts of aluminum oxide, 2-5 parts of aluminum borate, 8-12 parts of polyester fibers, 5-9 parts of glass fibers, 6-9 parts of methylcellulose, 1-4 parts of zirconium oxide, 2-6 parts of vanadium, 1-3 parts of sodium tripolyphosphate, 5-8 parts of boron nitride, 4-7 parts of vinyltriethoxysilane, 3-6 parts of antioxidants, and 5-10 parts of heat stabilizers. The prepared modified copper-based high-strength composite material is high in strength, low in expansion coefficient and stable in integral performance. Meanwhile, the invention discloses a corresponding preparation method.
