The invention discloses high-performance phosphorus-containing phenolic resin. The high-performance phosphorus-containing phenolic resin is prepared from a component A, a component B and a component C through mixing, wherein the component A comprises constituents as follows: a phenolic compound, an aldehyde compound, phosphorus oxychloride, a catalyst and an acid-binding agent; the component B comprises constituents as follows: butyl ether phenolic resin, a fire retardant and a solvent; the component C comprises constituents as follows: a modifying agent, a curing agent, an enhancer and filler. The invention further relates to a preparation method of the high-performance phosphorus-containing phenolic resin. The preparation method is simple and fast, the production process is safe and environment-friendly, and the produced phosphorus-containing phenolic resin has high phosphorus content and good flame retardancy.
