The invention discloses a sensing optical cable for monitoring seepage performance and a using method thereof. The cable comprises an excircle module, a middle layer module and an inner core module. The inner core module comprises a fourth sensing optical fiber and a triangle inner support. A hard protection layer and a thermal insulation protection layer are successively arranged outside the fourth sensing optical fiber, and the triangle inner support is arranged outside the thermal insulation protection layer. The middle layer module comprises a first sensing optical fiber, a second sensing optical fiber, a third sensing optical fiber and an external arc filling layer. The first sensing optical fiber, the second sensing optical fiber and the third sensing optical fiber are arranged between the triangle inner support and the excircle module. The excircle module is in a circular ring shape and comprises no less than two sets of seepage-separation enhancing segments and seepage-increase enhancing segments, wherein the seepage-separation enhancing segments and the seepage-increase enhancing segments are distributed alternately. According to the invention, then novel sensing optical cable for monitoring seepage performance internally provided with the seepage-separation enhancing segments and the seepage-increase enhancing segments is established by the fusion of a three-core optical fiber used for seepage monitoring and a single-core optical fiber for calibration, and the sensing optical cable for monitoring seepage performance is intelligent, digital, integrated and miniature.
