The present invention relates to a photo-reactive copolymer and an alignment layer comprising the same and, more specifically, to a photo-reactive copolymer comprising a copolymer of two kinds of different monomers, and an alignment layer comprising the same. The photo-reactive copolymer of the present invention exhibits excellent liquid crystal alignment and alignment speed, and has a characteristic that the alignment direction thereof can easily be varied according to the polarization direction. In addition, due to having excellent solubility in organic solvents, the photo-reactive copolymer of the present invention can be used in various fields, such as liquid crystal devices.
