The invention discloses a nonlinear building design adjusting method which comprises the following steps: conducting meshed subdivision on the top surface of a nonlinear building, so as to divide the top surface into a plurality of top surface subareas, wherein each top surface subarea is a polygon; calculating the rain water flow rate of each top surface subarea according to the rainfall parameter in the region of the nonlinear building; and conducting design adjustment on the nonlinear building when the rain water flow rate of the top surface subarea is equal to or larger than a preset rain water flow rate threshold value, so as to ensure that the rain water flow rate of the top surface subarea is smaller than the preset rain water flow rate threshold value. The invention further discloses a nonlinear building design adjusting device. According to the invention, harm of rain water to the nonlinear building can be prevented effectively.
