The invention discloses a method for transmitting competition settlement message feedback information, and a device thereof. In one technical solution of the invention, network equipment transmits resource configuration information of PUCCH for transmitting the competition settlement message feedback information through system broadcast message or random access response message, so that a terminal can feed back the competition settlement message feedback information in time, thereby realizing better coverage for the feedback information than the coverage in prior art. In another technical solution, because a time interval between the ending subframe of a PDSCH which bears the competition settlement message and the starting subframe of the PUCCH that bears the competition settlement message feedback information is larger than the time interval between the PDSCH and the PUCH which are defined in a 3GPP Release11 version. Therefore the terminal has enough time for performing transmission preparation for the feedback information. Compared with the prior art, the method of the invention has better coverage for the feedback information.
