The invention discloses a capacitance temperature sensor, comprising a housing, a hollow pipe placed in the housing, and a circuit board fixed to the housing; the housing is internally provided with an accommodating space; one end of the housing is provided with a plug; the plug is provided with a pair of wiring pins; the circuit board and the plug are in electric connection; two ends of the hollow pipe are provided with two parallel pole plates which are in hermetic sealing cooperation with the hollow pipe to from a simple capacitor with air as a medium; the two parallel pole plates are in electric connection with the circuit board; the circuit board is provided with a capacitance detection circuit used for detecting a capacitance capacity. The capacitance temperature sensor is low in power dissipation.
