本发明提供立式加工中心。立式加工中心（1）具有在X轴、Y轴、Z轴方向移动的工具主轴（70）。基座（10）具有加工区域（W）和工具交换区域（A）。加工区域（W）配备有装在倾斜盘（20）上的旋转工作台（30）。倾斜盘（20）配备成倾斜轴从机械前侧（F）向后侧的方向。机械前侧（F）设有操作区域（S），用作操作人员的操作空间。

This vertical machining center (1) is equipped with a tool spindle (70) that moves in X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis directions. A base (10) has a machining area (W) and a tool-changing area (A). A rotary table (30) mounted on a tilting frame (20) is installed in the machining area (W). The tilting frame (20) is installed in a direction in which the tilting axis thereof extends from the front (F) side toward the rear side of the machine. A work area (S) is provided on the front side (F) of the machine and is utilized as a workspace for an operator.
