The invention provides a payment system based on NFC (near field communication) equipment. The payment system comprises first NFC equipment, second NFC equipment and a payment terminal, wherein a payment module is arranged in the first NFC equipment; the second NFC equipment comprises a decoding module for decoding the payment module, and when the second NFC equipment approaches the first NFC equipment, the decoding module decodes the payment module; the payment terminal is used for enabling the payment module of the first NFC equipment to perform payment when the first NFC equipment approaches. According to the system, the invention further provides a payment method based on the NFC equipment, one of the NFC equipment decodes the other NFC equipment in advance, so that the decoded NFC equipment can perform consumption without passwords, the leakage of the passwords can be avoided, and the safety of the payment is improved.
