The embodiment of the invention provides a digital pre-distortion transmitter and a control method thereof. The digital pre-distortion transmitter comprises a pre-distortion unit, a signal processing and transmitting unit and a feedback signal processing unit, wherein the pre-distortion unit is used for updating a pre-distortion coefficient needed by pre-distortion processing and performing pre-distortion processing on a baseband signal; the signal processing and transmitting unit is used for performing signal processing on the baseband signal which is subjected to the pre-distortion processing and transmitting the signal-processed baseband signal; the feedback signal processing unit is used for processing a feedback signal of a signal transmitted by the signal processing and transmitting unit in order to provide dynamic drain voltage for a power amplifier in the signal processing and transmitting unit by using the processed feedback signal; and the pre-distortion unit is used for updating the pre-distortion coefficient by using the feedback signal processed by the feedback signal processing unit. Through the embodiment of the invention, the efficiency of the power amplifier can be increased, and the linearity of a system is improved.
