The invention discloses a special mounting rack for a top cover assembly of a reactor of a nuclear power station. The mounting rack comprises a simulation top cover and an operating platform arranged above the simulation top cover. Besides, the invention further discloses a mounting method for the top cover assembly of the reactor of the nuclear power station. The method comprises the following steps: (1) assembling the top cover assembly on the special mounting rack for the top cover assembly of the reactor of the nuclear power station offline; and (2) integrally transferring and connecting the top cover assembly on the special mounting rack to a top cover of the reactor of the nuclear power station. According to the special mounting rack and the mounting method, the assembling environment of the top cover assembly of the reactor of the nuclear power station, comprising a top cover ventilating device, an anti-vibration supporting assembly and a lifting tool, is changed, and the top cover assembly and a control rod driving mechanism can be simultaneously mounted.
