The present invention provides: a novel compound which has satisfactory sensitivity (base generation capacity); a photosensitive resin composition which contains the compound as a photoinitiator; and a cured product of the photosensitive resin composition. The present invention specifically provides: a compound represented by general formula (1); and a photosensitive resin composition which contains (A) a photoinitiator that contains at least one kind of the compound and (B) a photosensitive resin. As the compounds represented by general formula (1), compounds wherein R1 is an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6-20 carbon atoms, compounds wherein at least one of R5, R6, R7, R8, R9, R10 and R11 is a nitro group, and compounds wherein n is 0 are preferable. In this connection, the details of general formula (1) are as defined in the description.
