The invention discloses easily-machined single-crystal sapphire bullet-proof glass and a machining method of the glass. The bullet-proof glass comprises at least four layers of structures, and the four layers sequentially comprise an outer optical glass layer with the refractive index close to that of a sapphire, a single-crystal sapphire layer, an inner optical glass layer with the refractive index close to that of the sapphire and a transparent organic material layer. The single-crystal sapphire layer is a single-crystal plate formed by directional freezing of high-temperature molten, and no machining or polishing treatment is performed on the surface of the single-crystal sapphire layer. According to the easily-machined single-crystal sapphire bullet-proof glass, the manufacturing cost is reduced, meanwhile, difficult polishing of the sapphire is avoided, and meanwhile the good bullet-proof property is achieved.
