The invention relates to a method for hard seed treatment as well as after-treatment drying and storage of melissitus ruthenicus seeds. The method comprises the following steps: (1) harvesting mature melissitus ruthenicus seeds, cleaning, selecting, and drying until the water content is less than or equal to 11% so as to obtain dry seeds; (2) after safety protection, putting the dry seeds into a nylon bag by an operator and then soaking the bag in a glass container which is filled with concentrated sulfuric acid with volume concentration of 98%, taking out the nylon bag, washing by running water, immersing the seeds in a plastic or glass container by clear water, and carrying out elutriation and clear water soaking to obtain soaked seeds; and (3) directly seeding the soaked seeds, or fishing out the soaked seeds, draining off running water on the surfaces of the seeds in two minutes, immediately drying moisture on the surfaces of the seeds by a normal-temperature fan and seeding or storing the seeds which are aired until the water content is below 11% in two days. According to the method, the hard seed of melissitus ruthenicus seeds can be effectively conquered, the germination rate can be improved, and the drying and storage after the hard seed treatment are simple and convenient.
