The invention belongs to the technical field of inorganic nonmetallic materials, particularly relates to glass and a manufacturing technology thereof, and more particularly relates to conductive glass and a manufacturing method thereof. The conductive glass is manufactured by coating inorganic conductive powder on the surface of glass particles to prepare a glass mixture, melting at 1150-1300 DEG C and cooling, wherein the inorganic conductive powder is one or a mixture of an inorganic conductive oxide and conductive titanate, the inorganic conductive powder accounts for 3%-23% of the glass mixture, and the glass particles account for 77%-97% of the glass mixture. The conductive glass is used for manufacturing various building materials such as plate glass, glass mosaic and machinable glass ceramic composite boards with conductive glass layers, and the glass material for buildings has the novel functions of electromagnetic shielding, static electricity preventing, electrical heating and the like.
