The invention discloses an indexing box which comprises a box body, an input shaft, an input gear, an intermediate shaft, an intermediate gear and an output shaft, wherein the input shaft, the intermediate shaft and the output shaft are respectively supported in the box body through bearings; the input gear is connected to the input shaft through a spline; the intermediate gear is connected to the intermediate shaft through a spline; the input gear is meshed with the intermediate gear; the intermediate shaft and the output shaft are connected through a shifting fork mechanism to be in a connected state or a disconnected state. As the shifting fork mechanism is operated outside the box body, the intermittent power transmission adjustment of the intermediate shaft and the output shaft can be rapidly realized, and the use requirement on gap power transmission of multiple mechanisms of a cotton picker is met.
