The invention relates to an amplitude normalization processing method. The method sequentially includes the following steps of firstly, figuring out an approximate reflection coefficient RAB; secondly, figuring out a reflection coefficient correcting value r; thirdly, figuring out an approximate amplitude computational formula; fourthly, implementing the program. According to the method, folded data and wave impedance data are taken as constraints, specific mathematical manipulation is utilized for conducting amplitude correction, therefore, the influence, caused by overlaying strata lithological changes, on reflection amplitude is controlled, the reflection features of a reservoir section are made to be obvious and easy to recognize in a seismic section, then, property changes caused by the reservoir section in the transverse direction can be better recognized, and the aim of predicting the reservoir section can be achieved through analysis on the changes. According to the method, the special relationship between amplitude information and the reservoir section is further mined, therefore, another method is added to the existing reservoir section predicting technology, and meanwhile more foundation is provided for oil field well position deployment.
