The novel air filter shell can realize excellent structural layout of an air inlet system in a relatively compact space of an engine compartment, the use ratio of the space of the engine compartment is increased, the air inlet system reduces air inlet noise and decreases hydraulic resistance, structural innovation of the shell body is facilitated by the aid of combined design of the split structural shell cover and the shell bottom frame, and mounting requirements of different vehicle types can be met.
