The invention relates to an environment-friendly catalyst swelling and soaking technology of an MTBE (methyl tert-butyl ether) industrial unit reactor, which solves the adverse damage to the environment and workers during the using process of high-toxicity methyl alcohol. The technology comprises the processes of material guiding, soaking and dehydrating, and comprises the following steps of: guiding ether after-mixed C4 by a centrifugal pump to a reactor filled with novel catalysts; increasing the pressure of the installed reactor; closing an inlet and an outlet of the reactor; standing the after-mixed C4, guiding and withdrawing the after-mixed C4 into a standing tank by utilizing the pressure; and then standing, dehydrating, and sending materials entering the standing tank to the outside. The stable input production and qualified quality of the swelled and soaked catalyst can be ensured completely; the time for achieving qualified products is shortened greatly; the expense for recycling a great amount of methyl alcohol is saved; meanwhile the service life of the catalyst is prolonged; and compared with the traditional swelling and soaking technology, the environment-friendly catalyst swelling and soaking technology has the advantages that the production cost is saved greatly, and the favorable working environment is protected.
