The invention discloses a rotary type continuous coating device and a rotary continuous film coating method. The rotary type continuous coating device is that a workpiece conveyor belt is placed on one side of a vacuum coating device; an assembling-disassembling sheet mechanism is arranged between an assembling-disassembling station of the workpiece conveyor belt and a preevacuated chamber of the vacuum coating device; the vacuum coating device is provided with a rotary type structure with a plurality of circumferentially-distributed vacuum chambers; and the assembling-disassembling sheet mechanism is provided with a rotating arm which can be rotated for 180 degrees. The rotary type continuous film coating method comprises the following steps: conveying a workpiece to be coated to the assembling-disassembling station by the workpiece conveyor belt, and conveying the coated workpiece into the vacuum coating device into the preevacuated chamber at the same time; rotating the rotating arm of the assembling-disassembling sheet mechanism for 180 degrees so as to drive the workpiece to be coated and the coated workpiece to exchange the position with each other; continuously operating the workpiece conveyor belt to move the coated workpiece out of the assembling-disassembling station and convey the new workpiece to be coated to the assembling-disassembling station, and coating the workpiece to be coated by the vacuum coating device at the same time; and conveying the new coated workpiece into the preevacuated chamber. By adopting the device and the method, the continuous and automatic operation can be realized, and the working efficiency can be improved.
