The invention provides a compact type fuel battery power supply system. The compact type fuel battery power supply system comprises a fuel battery, a DCDC (Direct Current Direct Current) conversion unit, a contactor, an energy storing device, a controller, an auxiliary system, a power supply output end and an operation control unit, wherein the contactor is a normally-opened large-current contactor; an output end of the fuel battery is connected with an input end of the DCDC conversion unit; the DCDC conversion unit is connected with the energy storing device through the contactor; an output end of the DCDC conversion unit is further connected with the power supply output end and a large-power auxiliary part contained by the auxiliary system; a port of the energy storing device is connected with the power supply output end and the auxiliary system through the contactor; the operation control unit is connected with the energy storing device, the DCDC conversion unit and the controller respectively; and the controller is connected with the fuel battery, the DCDC conversion unit, a control end of the contactor, the energy storing device and the auxiliary system respectively. According to the compact type fuel battery power supply system, parts are reduced so that the reliability of the system is improved and the volume is reduced; and the system has enough space to mount and maintain, is good for heat radiation of an electronic element and is particularly suitable for a forklift.
