The invention discloses a carbon fiber enhanced polyphenylene sulfide composite material for an automobile anticollision beam. The composite material is prepared by taking carbon fibers and polyphenylene sulfide resin as raw materials, stacking the raw materials according to a sequence of the polyphenylene sulfide resin, the carbon fiber and the polyphenylene sulfide resin from top to bottom, preparing a prepreg through a composite material dry-state prepreg machine, then cutting the prepreg according to the size of a target product, stacking and conveying a plurality of layers of prepreg into a hot press, and performing hot-pressing under the conditions that the hot-pressing temperature is between 290 and 340 DEG C, the hot-pressing pressure is between 0.1 and 0.5MPa and the hot-pressing time is 5 to 20 minutes. The composite material has light mass, high intensity and high impact resistance; when used for manufacturing the automobile anticollision beam, the carbon fiber enhanced polyphenylene sulfide composite material has the advantages of greatly reducing the weight of the automobile anticollision beam along with a good shock absorption effect; therefore, requirements of automobiles on light weight, energy conservation and environment friendliness are met; and the composite material has a wide application prospect in the field of automobile manufacturing.
