The invention relates to fittings of automobiles and particularly relates to an ignition device of a gasoline engine. The ignition device comprises a flywheel, a chassis and an igniter; a reflection type photoelectric switch is arranged on the chassis; signal rotor blades serving as reflection plates are arranged on the inside circumference of the flywheel at intervals; the photoelectric switch is connected onto an amplifier; and the amplifier is further connected onto the igniter. With the adoption of the structure, according to the ignition device of the gasoline engine, the reflection plates arranged at intervals are used for triggering the photoelectric switch; and then, a signal voltage is generated, and the voltage is amplified though the amplifier and then is used for enabling the igniter to ignite.
