The invention discloses a method for preparing an edible iron ion fortified soy protein isolate packaging film, which is mainly characterized by comprising the following steps of: mixing 3 to 10 weight parts of soy protein isolate, 1 to 2 weight parts of glycerol, 0.01 to 0.20 weight part of hard fatty acid, 0.01 to 0.20 weight part of modified cellulose, 0.001 to 0.020 weight part of iron supplementary and 88 to 96 weight parts of water uniformly; and performing film making, forming and the like to obtain the edible iron ion fortified soy protein isolate packaging film which has high protein and low fat and is iron fortified. The method has the advantages of wide materials and no limitation on productive regions; the prepared film has the advantages of high strength, rich nutrition, edibility and the like; and the preparation method has mild conditions, and the raw material used for production is a soybean processing by-product, so that the additional value of the agricultural and sideline product is increased and the preparation method has very high social benefit and economic benefit.
