The invention relates to a processing method for purifying sulfur-containing chlorine hydride and belongs to the technical field of the purification of sulfur dioxide-containing chlorine hydride gas and aqueous solution of chlorine hydride. The processing method is characterized by introducing water and chlorine to the sulfur dioxide-containing chlorine hydride gas for purification treatment and introducing chlorine to the aqueous solution of thesulfur dioxide-containing chlorine hydride for purification treatment. The chlorine hydride gas obtained by the method can be directly used for various industrial purposes, such as the preparation of methane chloride through methanol chlorination, acid hydrolysis reaction in glyphosate production and the like; the vitriol-containing hydrochloric acid obtained by the method can be directly used for industrialized production which is effective for hydrochloric acid and vitriol, for example, the vitriol-containing hydrochloric acid can be used inacid hydrolysis reaction in the glyphosate production to replace original industrial-level hydrochloric acid synthesis; and the throughput and productivity of glyphosate is kept unchanged; the methodchanges tail gas and byproducts generated in sulfur-method chloroactic acid preparation into values, improves the economic benefits of enterprises, saves the production cost of the enterprises, and particularly, avoids influence of waste gas on environment.
