The invention discloses a method and equipment for continuous preparation of metallic oxide and catalyst, and the preparation method comprises the following steps: dissolving metallic materials by salpeter solution to prepare metallic nitrate solution; introducing pressurization superheated vapor in metal salt solution to enable the metal salt solution to be hydrolyzed to obtain metallic oxide hydrate slurry and release NOx gas, and preparing the generated NOx gas into nitric acid for reuse; and filtering and drying the slurry to obtain the metallic oxide. The invention also discloses a method for preparing the catalyst by using the obtained metallic oxide and equipment for preparing the equipment, and the equipment comprises a metal salt preparation system, a metal salt solution hydrolysis reaction system, a product preparation system and a nitric acid preparation and recycling system. The method in the invention has the advantages of realizing continuity of the whole progress, lowering the production cost and realizing closed circulation and zero emission of the production progress.
