The invention discloses method for preventing false tripping of electric system out-of-step separating device in symmetrical fault, including the step of realizing shutting of the out-of-step separating device and the step of opening out-of-step separation function. The shutting and opening of the out-of-step separating device is judged by measuring electrical quantity in real time. The inventioncan not be in failure to operate in out-of-step oscillation caused by simple destroying on steady state. The invention can reliably avoid false tripping of out-of-step separating device in electric system symmetrical fault, out-of-step separating function is rapidly judged after fault is removed, and failure to operate can not appear when coherent generator groups in the electric system after fault is removed are in asynchronous running.
