The invention relates to a control coil of an energy-saving alternating current contactor, which comprises coil input ends (A1A2), a normally closed contact (K1), a diode (D5), a pull-in coil, a bridge rectifier circuit and a holding coil, wherein a second control module and the holding coil are connected mutually and then connected in parallel at the two ends of the coil input ends (A1A2); and the normally closed contact (K1), a first control module and the pull-in coil are connected in series and then connected in parallel at the two ends of the coil input ends (A1A2). Compared with the prior art, the control coil of the energy-saving alternating current contactor has the following advantages that: the power consumption of the coils of the contactor is reduced remarkably when the coils are in a hold mode; a circuit power factor is improved greatly, the reactive power loss of power distribution and transmission is reduced and the quality of power networks is optimized; and the noise pollution is reduced remarkably, and humanized working atmosphere is created.
