The invention relates to a conducting wire with an aluminum base carbon fiber composite material core, which is a novel overhead conducting wire with higher conductivity and intensity, high temperature resistance and no bamboo joint phenomena and can utilize the prior tower equipment to realize line compatibilization within short time. An aluminum base carbon fiber composite material is used as an inner core of the conducting wire to replace a resin base carbon fiber composite material inner core of an ACCC conducting wire, and the outer layer of the composite inner core is hinged with an alloy conductor. The invention prepares the conducting wire composite inner core with more excellent performance than the resin base composite material by utilizing the characteristic that metal has higher intensity, heat resistance, heat and electricity conductivity and anti-aging performance than the resin base. A series of surface processing measures of high-temperature firing for removing rubber, oxidation, sensitization and activation of ammonium persulphate, plating copper on the surfaces of fibers, and the like are taken on carbon fibers, thereby solving the problems of bad moistening of an aluminum fusant and the carbon fibers and low interfacial strength so as to prepare the conducting wire with an aluminum base carbon fiber composite material core.
