The invention relates to a mechanical clock, in particular to a mechanical alarm clock with the function of gradual snooze. When a clockwork spring of the clock mechanism of the three-section gradual snooze mechanical clock is tightened, the whole mechanism is in the initial position of a first section snooze to wait for the arriving of the snooze. When time arrives the moment of the snooze, a second snooze is locked; the first section snooze begins; double ringing time of the first section snooze is spaced for a period of time; when the first section snooze ends, the second snooze begins; double ringing time of the second section snooze is spaced for a period of time; the second section snooze has the same action principle with the first section snooze but ringing time interval of the click gets shorter. The mechanism finishes the second section snooze and enters into period of time of a third section continuous ringing; ringing is continuous till the moment of the spring releases over; now the ringing is over. The invention realizes three-section gradual snooze function of the mechanical alarm clock, which can ring with low frequency firstly, and then rings with adding frequency, and finally rings with high frequency, thus realizing human oriented design.
